The space on a cd isnt exactly worthy of showing off any great artwork, whereas a vinyl is. I'd buy a vinyl purely for the artwork and then download the tracks/purchase(!) online as I can't remember the last time I bought a cd...and I have stacks that just sit on shelf...gathering dust like everyone elses...
